Indian Head Massage

An Amazingly Powerful Therapy That Will Leave You Feeling Completely Relaxed.

Indian head massage is a form of massage covering the head, neck, shoulders, upper arms, scalp and face.

This holistic treatment can help to alleviate insomnia,  neck and shoulder tension/stiffness, sinus congestion, eyestrain, stress, mental fatigue and tension in your upper back.

How Indian Head Massage Can Help You?

This therapy treats the whole person and restores energy flow to your body, leaving you with a feeling of calm.  It relaxes the muscles and helps to break up tightness,  which in turn eases aches, pains and tension.

The massage techniques used during this treatment increase the oxygen supply to the brain and stimulate the release of endorphins. These are your body's natural painkillers and also reduce feelings of depression.

By boosting circulation to your scalp the massage also promotes healthy hair by encouraging growth and improving it's general condition.

What Happens During The Treatment?

On your first visit I will go through a consultation with you about your general health and lifestyle. This is of course confidential.

You will be asked to remove your upper clothing (down to bra for ladies) and a towel will be provided for you to wrap around yourself. The massage oil I use is brilliant for warming the muscles and is fantastic for your hair, but if you prefer I can just use a little on your skin.

The massage will then commence with you seated on a chair. There may be areas that feel tight or tender which indicate imbalance or tension.  However, these usually lessen as your treatment progresses and I always go back over problem areas again at the end of the massage. The session lasts approximately 30 minutes but allow 45 for your appointment.

£28 per session

Aftercare Advice:

After your massage you should try to rest and drink plenty of water. This encourages any toxins to be flushed out of your body.

Following your treatment you may feel sleepy, relaxed and possibly a little tender initially but this will settle and shows you are benefiting.
